About Us
They are not a corporation; they are not a LTD, LLC, INC or GMBH. They are not some sort of accountants belonging to the ‘Big Five’...
...Oops! The ‘Big Four’ now (we live in times when the proverb "too big to fail" does not apply). They are just like you, two guys who were shocked by the World Economic Crisis.
You know how it feels when you see your friends become unemployed and see "Bank owned" signs everywhere in the news. With Microsoft, Google and IBM firing some of their employees, the situation is very serious.
CrisisHelper is dedicated to John F. Kennedy:
"When written in Chinese, the word 'crisis' is composed of two characters — one represents danger, and the other represents opportunity," he said.
Crisis in Chinese is 危机,危 means danger, 机 means opportunity |

They just wanted to overcome the recession and were searching for tools which can help them to cut expenses and save money in times of the World Economic Crisis and they have found... none of them.
Most people would just stop and forget about this idea, but not these two guys. That was the moment when they decided to create the CrisisHelper, the software which they believe will help millions of people around the world to overcome the World Economic Crisis.
They created a program which uses a completely new approach to accounting. The main idea was to make an accounting program which is as simple as possible. |
They spent about 4 months developing CrisisHelper. They were so enthusiastic that they worked on CrisisHelper day and night and it was difficult for them because they had their daytime jobs (Dmitry is a software developer, Vitaly is a designer) to pay their rising bills.
Their aim was to create easy, useful, expense-cutting software. In their opinion they created the best software for home, personal or even business accounting. You can download it and tell them what you think. Let them know if it helped you and all their efforts succeeded. They are always happy to hear any feedback from you.
So let's introduce them. They are a team consisting of a software developer (Dmitry Chaplay) and designer (Vitaly Pedchenko) from Kiev, Ukraine (Europe).
Dmitry Chaplay is a software developer who participated in development of many programs: Projetex, Translation Office 3000, AnyCount, ClipCount, WinLexic, CATCount, VoiceSearchBar, ColorPicker, AcroLexic, AnyMem, ExactSpent, WinLexic. He works as the Manager of the Software Development Department at Advanced International Translations, having previously worked at the Kiev City Administration.
Vitaly Pedchenko is a freelance logo designer, who has designed logos for many companies, websites and events. You can see his portfolio and feedback about his work on his website: http://www.etiziano.com. Prior to his freelance career he worked as Director of Finance at Advanced International Translations.
They decided to develop this program to help people all over the world to overcome the World Economic Crisis (Recession, bad economy or whatever you want to call it).
By the way, do you know that free licenses have been sent to all members of Governments of all countries of the world? Yes, to President Barack Obama, too. We hope that CrisisHelper will serve them as well as it serves you. You will be using the same program which will be possibly used by world leaders.
The program is based on Extreme Accounting, KISS and WYSIWYG principles.
Other Projects
Another one of their projects is VoiceSearchBar, a free toolbar for Internet Explorer which allows a search on Google to be carried out by using your voice:
http://www.voicesearchbar.com
It has been downloaded more than 10,000 times by people from more than 60 countries around the world. Articles about VoiceSearchBar were published in English, Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Turkish, Belorussian, Greek, US and European news sources.
Also they've been interviewed by Aleksandra Krayevaya from "Gazeta Po-Kievski", one of the most popular Ukrainian newspapers:
